What was the highlight of Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kanda
Fantastic staff, good location and facilities, but very limited breakfast options.
We chose this hotel for its great location (7 mins from Kanda Station, which is one stop from Tokyo Station). There were plenty of restaurants around and two 7-Eleven nearby, which provided all the snacks. The room was compact but big enough to fit all our things, and I liked that the we could open the window to the inner courtyard. The bathroom was quite small, but this is Japan, so I'm surprised when people complain about this. The staff were absolutely wonderful - very kind and friendly, and went out of their way to help us. I was very impressed by the daily cleaning service (optional) and the fresh towels we got every day.
The two things I didn't like at this hotel: 1) The air-conditioning was centrally controlled, so the room was either freezing cold or stuffy and hot whenever we had the A/C off. It was impossible to sleep with the A/C on because we froze to death, yet turning it off made it hard to breathe. 2) We paid for the daily buffet breakfast, which was nice but VERY limited. It might be fine if you're staying at the hotel for a couple of days, but there really wasn't enough change or variety for a 10-day stay. Plus, my boyfriend is vegetarian, and there was almost nothing for him to eat except for bread rolls and croissants. There wasn't even any cheese or sliced vegetables for a sandwich.

Wonderful
Staff so friendly and helpful, very good english too
pillows little uncomfy, but you can ask for additional one for free! Could not turn the ac on though, only hot or off :( We had to leave windows open all day to cool the room down
